Cold Bore is in active beta. During the beta period, everything is free — online account creation, all weapons, all attachments, all equipment, full loadout access. No payment required. Prices listed below reflect the planned final model and are not active yet.
BALLISTICS
Every projectile is a physically simulated object. Bullets drop, drift with wind, deflect with Earth's rotation, and respond to air density at their actual altitude. The AK-47 has unpredictable recoil not because a designer balanced it — but because the long-stroke piston gas system generates that behaviour from first principles. Sniping at 800 metres is genuinely difficult: Coriolis deflection, spin drift, powder temperature, and atmospheric density all apply simultaneously. Bullets are invisible in flight. Because they are in real life.
WOUNDS, NOT HEALTH BARS
Get hit and you bleed. Bleeding kills you slowly and certainly unless treated. There is no regeneration. A fractured leg from a five-metre fall means you cannot sprint — apply a splint or crawl. A teammate can drag you to cover while another applies a tourniquet under fire. Lose too many players and the round is over.
EQUIPMENT, NOT HUD
The HUD shows only what your gear can tell you. No GPS watch means no minimap. No Kestrel means no wind data. No rangefinder means no distance readout. You read wind from vegetation, navigate by landmarks, and estimate range from experience.
OFFLINE MODE — FREE, FOREVER
No account. No payment. Everything unlocked — every weapon, every attachment, every piece of equipment. Firing range with targets from 50 to 1000 metres. Full bot matches. Learn every system at your own pace.
ONLINE MULTIPLAYER — FREE DURING BETA (planned: one-time purchase of €60)
During the beta, creating an online account is completely free. After launch, a single payment of €60 will be required. No subscription. No battle pass. Once you pay, you play.
IN-GAME ECONOMY (DGC) (not active during beta — all items unlocked)
Online matches will run on an in-game currency called DGC. You start with a standard-issue kit — an M4A1, an M9 sidearm, basic armour, helmet, radio, and medical supplies. Ammunition, grenades, and medical basics are always free.
Everything else — better weapons, optics, suppressors, plate carriers, night vision, thermal scopes, radios, camouflage — you buy with DGC.
Earn DGC by playing:
- Complete a match: 200–800 DGC based on placement and survival time
- Kills, assists, revives, and medical actions all pay out
- Winning team bonus: +2,000 DGC
- Daily challenges (3 per day) and weekly challenges for extra income
Or buy DGC directly: €5, €10, €25, or €50 packs — fixed prices, no loot boxes, no gambling, no randomness. You know exactly what you get. A paying player and a grinding player end up with the same gear — money only saves time.
Items you buy are yours permanently. Seasonal resets only affect leaderboards and challenges — your inventory stays.
During the beta, none of this applies — every player has full access to every item at no cost.
